Following the completion of the Facilitators’ Training in each municipality, the program proceeded to the roll-out phase, which began on the day immediately following the training sessions. This phase focused on the actual screening of Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), serving as the initial on-the-ground implementation of the SUCCESS–FAP program at the community level.
During the roll-out activities, trained facilitators and health personnel applied the knowledge and skills gained from the training, including proper counseling, guidance on specimen self-collection, screening flow management, accurate completion of program forms, and the proper handling, storage, and transport of kits and specimens. The roll-out also enabled facilitators to carry out their designated roles and responsibilities, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient service delivery throughout the screening process.
The post-training roll-out served as a practical validation of facilitators’ readiness, while reinforcing strict adherence to program protocols under the guidance and supervision of the Western Visayas Medical Center (WVMC) and the Department of Health – Western Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH WV CHD). This phase marked a critical transition from capacity-building to full program implementation, ensuring that training lessons were effectively translated into actual service delivery.
The roll-out activities were closely supervised by Dr. Niñylyn Calicaran, Jeny Linn Aguero, and Mercy Rose Catedral, ensuring compliance with established protocols and the proper conduct of screening procedures.
On December 10, 2025, the municipality of Lemery conducted the first roll-out activity, during which approximately 165 Barangay Health Workers aged 30–49 years were screened across 31 barangays. This activity marked the initial application of the facilitators’ training in a real-world, community-based screening setting.

On December 11, 2025, the municipality of Estancia followed with its roll-out, successfully screening 100 Barangay Health Workers from 25 barangays. The activity demonstrated effective coordination among trained facilitators, Rural Health Unit (RHU) staff, and BHWs in implementing the screening process.

On December 12, 2025, the municipality of Carles conducted its roll-out activity in the mainland area, screening 97 Barangay Health Workers from 15 barangays. This activity served as the initial phase of implementation in Carles, with the next phase focusing on the screening of island barangays to ensure coverage of geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.

Overall, these roll-out activities demonstrated a successful transition from training to implementation, validating the readiness of facilitators and health personnel to deliver cervical cancer screening services effectively under the SUCCESS–FAP program.
