About

AMLIG FOR INDAY is a shared cervical cancer prevention initiative of Carles, Estancia, and Lemery, led by the Iloilo Provincial Health Office in collaboration with Cancer Warriors Foundation, bringing HPV-DNA testing closer to women—from primary care facilities to remote islands and mountainous communities.

Rooted in the Hiligaynon word Amlig (“to care and protect”) and Inday, a term of endearment for women, the initiative reflects a shared commitment to safeguarding women’s health and the future of communities.

Guided technically by the DOH Center for Health Development–Region VI and Western Visayas Medical Center, and supported by UNITAID and Expertise France through the SUCCESS-FAP Project, AMLIG FOR INDAY integrates education, screening, treatment, and referral to save lives and strengthen families and communities.
